Free BRN1 Event - The Psychology Behind Connecting

Join Business Referral Network 1 (BRN 1) for an engaging and informative live online event on April 26th from 8:00am-9:30am. BRN1 will be joined by David Mitroff, business growth strategist and international keynote speaker, who will be speaking to us about the Psychology Behind Connecting.

With a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Mitroff will explain how to be social with a purpose, and gain the skills to interact with people in professional and personal situations. You will learn how to successfully make connections with anyone in your life, which will allow you to further your career goals and create the relationships you want to create. This presentation will also focus on identifying what you want and how to achieve it through networking, with a solid foundation of friendliness, ability to engage, and willingness to give value first. We will also look at networking and making connections on a global level.

Speaker’s Bio:

David Mitroff, Ph.D. is a business growth strategist, speaker, and author who founded Piedmont Avenue Consulting, Inc. (PiedmontAve.com), that creates brand awareness, strengthens customer loyalty and streamlines business processes. David and his team advise clients on leveraging technology for creative initiatives from strategy through implementation.

David inspires individuals and organizations to think differently through his keynote talks on a wide range of topics including Business & Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Branding and Innovation.

He has educated and spoken all over the world including Korea, China, and Turkey for organizations and companies such as Google and AT&T, and at prestigious conferences like TEDx, Restaurant Executive Summit, Eastern Food Service Conference, HardwareCon and the Association of Defense Counsel.

Dr. Mitroff is also a College Instructor who teaches entrepreneurship and marketing at the University of California, Berkeley and is a Google Mentor for the Google for Startups program. The members of BRN I represents a broad coalition of business/industries throughout the Peninsula area. We meet weekly to share best practices, learn from subject matter experts, and have fun!
