Combined Latino Chamber Committee & Business Referral Networking Groups Mixer

The Latino Chamber Committee gathers monthly for an educational program followed by networking opportunity via Zoom. Twice a year, a larger gathering takes place with the members from the Chamber's three Business Referral Networking groups providing an expanded networking opportunity.

Mike Aguilera: The CEO of Aguilera & Associates, Mike Aguilera is a communication expert specializing in subconscious communication techniques and rapport-building skills for business and leadership. He is an international speaker, author of Connect with Anyone in 90 Seconds or Less and The Art of Networking. He has been invited to conduct more than 1,000 international presentations and workshops at major conventions, associations, and companies such as Apple Computer, Cisco, IBM, HP, PG&E, McDonald's Restaurants, Hilton Hotels, Lockheed and Intel.

Mike has developed new NLP sessions on 'How to be an insightful persuasive listener'. Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a psychological approach that involves analyzing strategies used by successful individuals and applying them to reach a personal goal. It relates thoughts, language, and patterns of behavior learned through experience to specific outcomes.

It’s not just acknowledging what a person says by paraphrasing or repeating back what they say, it’s about understanding what a person truly means. Making a person feel heard and understood creates rapport and trust so you win more clients, more referrals.
